What I think about it all

after 24 years

Time
A fickle determinant, and a behemoth within experience.

Love
Sweet and tender so long as you greet the thorns.

Friendship
Necessary to sustain. Your truest should be with yourself.

Family
The best reminder of our humble nature. Attend to the harmony.

The Nature of it all
A song. It’s not yours. Listen and dance as often as possible.

Consciousness
A mirror, momentarily experiencing that which passes through.

Work
You walk anyway. Might as well carry what load you can.

Leisure
More important than work. An opportune time to drift laterally in thought and action.

Sex
An expression of love and desire. Best when both feel free to truly engage.

The Blues
Suffering is inevitable and inescapable. Don’t run from it. Understand it and you might just transcend it.

Music
Perhaps the greatest gift; our truest insight. *see The Nature of it all

Health
Keep your balance. Mentally, physically, wholly. The input is the output.

Hobbies
Experiment considerately. Run with what grabs you.

Behavioral Necessity
You are an ape-man; act accordingly: absorb sunlight, clean yourself, eat decent meals, move your body, rest when tired.

Reflective Contemplation
As often as you are compelled, sit alone with pen and page to converse with yourself. It usually organizes your identity productively.

Stillness
There is no action as important to hone as inaction. Sit until your mind is empty and you will be full.

Art
Create it and experience it, often. It may cultivate a deeper understanding of it all.

Education
A lifelong journey that seldom takes place in a classroom. In whatever way you fancy, extend and grow.

Society
We are part-individual, part-collective; keep mind of both. If we are to create a better tomorrow, we must be better together.

Tiers
Lift those below. Climb for those above. Laugh with your cellmates.

The Juggling Act
The years throw more balls in the air, better to learn and properly attend them.

Dreams
As much a part of you as your waking self. Not to be disregarded.

Death
Nothing to worry over. The song goes on.

The Meaning of it all.
Why not?
